It’s all true! B-Interesting is my cycling hero now: I was able to sprint along, largely unencumbered, while he did the hard work of a domestique, carrying the weight of the team.
Too bad we don’t have soigneurs handy with fresh coffee and massage!

A sad day for Schleck—after a bad crash in the TT, Schleck is 11 minutes behind in the Critérium du Dauphiné.
I am getting good at this, but it features in my nightmares on a regular basis: as I drift off to sleep, that moment where most people feel a sensation of falling, I am on my bike, in a tight corner, and the bike kicks up and out from under me as I corner, and I hit the pavement jaw/face first—hard.
Something to get over.
For the most part my bike handling skills are self taught. I ride pretty regularly, and experience is a great teacher. But some things are counter intuitive. You probably won’t figure them out on your own. Things like this are where one of the most important skills in cycling (and life) kicks in:…
